Left: This stone sink was added when the new, modern kitchen was installed in 1858. The kitchen included a new cast iron, wood burning stove so that the Penrose family no longer cooked on an open fire.
Projects
 

HPHA supporters have generated over $350,000 for the restoration project since January of 2004. Almost $300,000 has been spent on renovation and restoration work on the main structures at the Penrose-Strawbridge site.
