River Breeze

Welsh Strawbridge was a noted equestrian and his favorite horse was named River Breeze, they are shown here together.

River Breeze won sixteen Steeplechase races in the 1920’s. He died in 1941 and was buried on the grounds along with his companion, a dog named Pip.

The burial site is marked with a head stone and a statue of a horse at full gallop that was donated to HPHA by Joe and Marie Dillon
