Power Up! by Ignite/Stream Energy
As of January 2011, a deregulated market allows all electricity customers in the state of Pennsylvania to shop among various suppliers for the best deal. One of these suppliers is Stream/Ignite Energy.
HPHA has become an affiliate of Stream Energy through their Power Up! program. The Power Up! Program is an excellent fund-raising campaign option for HPHA because everybody uses energy, and the commission Stream Energy pays to Power Up! Program participants like HPHA are paid month after month for the duration of the customer's relationship with Stream Energy.
If you change from PECO generation to Stream Energy, you will save some money on your electric bill and HPHA will receive $4.00 for every household that signs up with Stream Energy. PECO will continue to bill you, but the generation portion of your bill will read “Stream Energy”.

You can view Stream Energy's Rates Here. According to PA Power Switch, if you use 700 kWh per month through PECO, you will spend $77.98 per month. With Stream Energy you will spend only $65.73 per month. You save $12.25 per month.
